How can I copy from one table to a new one with new id's?

Essence of a question:
- I copy the table
- I delete some lines in the new table
- I clean old
- I interpose all lines from the copied table in old
Question: how at this insertion to make that the id field with an autoincrement was calculated anew?

Clear autoincrement on a table. Or something in the spirit
Or you can use for cleaning
Instead of the usual DELETE FROM.
