How can I calculate channel usage statistics in Mikrotik?

I have a Mikrotik router and 4pppoe connection. How can the program be used to monitor the network in the office? (With the ability to report, alert by mail or sms). To know who? where? went through which interface to determine the channel load.

Difficult for a beginner, but very powerful solution:
wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/Traffic_Flow
This is just a hardware statistics collection mechanism. It can be seen from the article that Mikrotik supports 3 versions: 1, 5, 9. The 9th is the most "heavy" in terms of the amount of information collected, but also the most detailed, of course. If there are not many people sitting at Mikrotik, then it makes sense to feel the 9th version with all the fields that it provides.
After the flow's have been shipped, you will need a package to analyze these statistics. There are a lot of analyzer packages. Here is an example of using one of them: mikrotik.axiom-pro.ru/articles/netflowanalyzer.php
I can say that many providers use this technology for traffic detailing. On pieces of iron from different manufacturers.

Install The Dude 3.6 on your computer .
Set up router monitoring.
Create "Charts" to display charts from the desired interfaces.

Netflow does not work correctly in Mikrotik. It's easier to install a separate proxy server. for example squid and a traffic analyzer to it. then it will be possible to unload in a normal readable form who spent where and how long. By setting triggers to send notifications (I made myself through the bot in telegram conveniently and for free)
