What is the scope of AssemblyScript?
How is it better or worse than other languages that can be used for WebAssembly?

Pros:
Simple and syntactically similar to TS/JS.
Doesn't add a bunch of its own abstraction layers over wasm.
Cons:
Due to simplicity, it is difficult to make something very complex, there are no ready-made packages, it is only for wasm and cannot compile to native code.
Itself is still in its infancy (see the list of implemented and planned features)
