How can a free service register a trademark in the US?
There is a website that provides a free service. The site is located in the .com zone. If I understand correctly, then registration of trademarks in the USA is possible only if some kind of trading activity is carried out (goods or services are sold). Tell me how can an individual register a trademark in the USA if the site does not sell services and is absolutely free. And how can you confirm the use of a trademark?

Register here www.uspto.gov/trademarks-application-process/filin... If you have software, you don't need to prove anything, just put the link and that's it. In the sense when you will fill out the form on uspto.
However, you don't need it at all. No one can take away your service by registering a trademark after registering a domain. registration is needed only if you have a large business growing there in order to accelerate similar services. Trademark registration is not a means of defense. This is the means of attack.
