Industrial design objects are usually modeled using specialized programs that work with NURBS surfaces. These are programs like Rhinoceros 3D, Autodesk Alias, SolidWorks, etc. However, programs such as maya, blender and 3ds max also have tools for NURBS modeling. I can only say that in Max these tools are made extremely clumsily and, rather, in order to "just be."
Keywords: industrial design 3d modeling, class A surfaces.
And on the sites you cited, there is really a frame-by-frame animation of an already rendered 3D model. Here you go: prntscr.com/7cr5fd . I don't know what you were looking for in the code.

If we talk specifically about models, then they are made in any 3D program in which you can model. And in max, which is set in tags, and in Maya, and in Blender, and in Cinema 4d (and ZBrush is still more suitable for organics, IMHO) .... the question is the level of ownership of a particular program. And, yes, such a number of small details, as in the first case, is also a headache to a certain extent.

In the second case, exactly the video, as you are told. Although it would be more correct to say an animation on a flash.
the code contains uls/swf/video-js.swf
the big-video-vid class and the object tag as if hinting.
