How are Monster Beats and Beats Audio related?

I myself listen to AKG and am quite satisfied, but the hype around these Beats begs the question "why?".

At first, HTC somehow collaborated with Beats Audio, it seemed to be presented as a collaboration with a strong player in the audio industry.

Now there is a general advertisement of some kind of Monster Beats, which creates the feeling that the target audience of "Monsters" is schoolchildren who need "show-offs".

Are Monster Beats and Beats Audio related in any way? Or some "Monster" decided to bask in the rays of respect for the "Beats"?

Monster Beats is simply a line of headphones from Beats by Dr. Dre. Apparently, just specifically for the Russian Federation, the word Monster was added to some models. Marketing features, apparently.
