But I won't be able to do it alone and I'll quit.
How and where to gather like-minded people on the translation of Russian video reports into text, into articles?
Are there any resources where Russian students write that they would like to contribute to a good / common cause?
Why translate to text? The text is better indexed and readable. A text article can be skimmed in 1 minute.

As an option:
Start a project and cross-post the best translations to your project and to Habr. Notes with a summary of good video presentations from conferences are well received by the audience.
There, in the posts, carefully promote the project and look for authors. ( now it seems to be possible to do it )
PS. Looking for like-minded people without having the project itself or your contribution made is practically futile.
