How and what is the best way to make a gallery of works by catalogs in modx revo?

Hello!
I seek advice on how to make a portfolio of work more correctly and better.
The essence is as follows:
1st step - go to the gallery, on the page there are "cards" of object types, a small image with the designation of the type of objects;

Step 2 - after selecting one of the types of objects, go to the page of objects of this type, that is, there are already previews of objects;

Step 3 - card / page of the object itself. 9408855f7f7e48d99bbadd2fa52c5c35.png
Please advise what is the best way to implement this, what modules to use?
As I understand it, fancibox and pdoTools may be required. Maybe something else…
Maybe you know where to see / read about this, maybe where there are examples to see, otherwise I’m generally lost. Mostly very simple examples are given.

The standard gallery + fancybox plugin will do the job just fine.

You can generally make a magnific-popup gallery or prettyPhoto
MIGX and upload photos through TV fields - I personally like this solution more. Since you still have a lot of characteristics, there will be several TVs in the database for one entry of the catalog element, in particular a gallery. For example, I made 2 galleries through MIGX to one element (an example is here )
Your question is whether it will be enough to upload a photo to a template with a bootstrap grid? I saw somewhere on the forum that it is not adaptable
Answer - you first make a layout in Html + css + js. It is convenient to use when working with the npm + Gulp project + all sorts of libraries (assembly, code minification, photo compression). Set up bootstrap, adaptability in the layout, and then transfer everything to modx revo.
