Hover translation program?

Machine translation from one language to another

We need a program that, on hovering over, gives out translation options for a given word when reading pdf books on a desktop, or epub from an application in chrome.
It would seem that ABBYY should be able to do this, but either the skis do not go, or I'm still doing something wrong.
If anyone knows suitable programs - a very big request to share =)

I apologize, I took out an old tambourine from under the bed, set everything up, ABBYY works. The question can be removed.
(The laptop froze, I had to reboot. It was not indicated anywhere during the installation of ABBYY, but apparently this is exactly what you need. + After the reboot, the process was blocked by the AVG Firewall, after unlocking everything works).
