Hotkeys in a text editor, built-in or bicycle?
Every (practically) text editor contains hotkeys for most common actions
at one time I tried to learn how to use emacs, watched video courses and on one of them they gave an example of some Chinese (Korean, Taiwanese, etc.) programmer who offered his own hot keys, their essence is that the starting point of combinations is not ctrl, but alt, through which it is much more convenient to combine with other keys, since the thumb of the left hand itself falls on alt.
Then I needed a cross-platform editor and sublime became it, where I dragged these hot keys.
Now I needed to switch to phpstorm and I'm thinking whether to drag my hotkeys there or try to master what is offered by default
