Hired or Freelancing?

I am 32 years. I started learning programming recently (a few months ago). Now I work as a hired manager in a company not related to IT. I would like to master the field of programming. What do you advise, aiming for a hired job as a junior or training on freelance projects?

I have already written many times and I will repeat: There are no chances for freelancing until you have grown up in the office to the middle. A couple of Toaster users wrote that they were able to get started freelancing, but even if this is true, they are examples of an extremely rare combination of outstanding personal qualities and fabulous luck.

I managed to start freelancing and learn something there - but this is at the age of 18, living with my parents and at their expense, and earning there not for a living, but rather pocket money. Yes, and the training proceeded quite slowly, basically doing what I mastered at the very beginning (extensions for chrome). When I went to the office as a junior (it was not difficult to get a job as a junior after freelancing), the growth went much faster and everything became more interesting in terms of money.
I feel like I've wasted a lot of time freelancing and I don't advise you to repeat my mistakes.

"Trained on freelance projects" is very funny. A bunch of companies and individuals are looking forward to coaching you.
