Good luck to everyone, there is a task to hide the text and open it on click, the question is what to do with search engines? They don't index hidden text? Or are there any options?

options are different
from cloaking (pessimization and ban) to a special site for the user agent,
search engines (more precisely, Google) do not recommend doing this

Use the DETAILS tag

It's not illegal, although Google said a year ago that hidden text (temporarily invisible to the user) would be counted down.
Personally, I use such a scheme without any complaints and any noticeable sanctions from the search engines.

The text is indexed, but if there are problems with ranking. This text usually does not appear on the first page.
