Hetzner! What are the pitfalls and how to pay?
Good time of the day. I registered on Hetzner, passed the validation and now I'm studying payment methods. I entered my data there from my Yandex Money virtual card and everything was OK and chose the payment system not through PayPal (which I don’t have), but through a debit card.
Now I'm thinking of ordering the simplest VPS for myself. But right away I want to find out the pitfalls and the so-called tips and tricks from those who have already used or are using it.
1. Explain how funds are debited? For some reason, the English version of the site is not loading at the moment.
2. What is the commission? I somehow wrote off with Yandex support, they said that if you transfer from a virtual card to a German bank card, then the commission is 100 rubles. But then, as if judging by the fact that Hetzner took all my CVV and other passwords, then it will be paid automatically and maybe without a commission? In general, in my case, I did not find options other than paying with a credit card with a debit card there. I thought there would be Yandex money or Webmoney, but no, I did not find such payment methods.
3. I saw a lot of people complaining that Hetzner does not suspend the server, but simply continues to withdraw money until the server is deleted. It's true?
4. In which data center to open a VPS? Now there are 2 in Germany and 1 in Finland to choose from. As I understand it, they don’t have Looking glass, so it’s hard to decide.
Of course, I would like to see those who pay with QIWI or Yandex.Money
Well, write about the pitfalls, who knows. Thanks :)
