Hetzner VServer VQ - work experience?

Good afternoon.
Hetzner has a line www.hetzner.de/en/hosting/produktmatrix_vserver/vs...
It uses ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kernel-based_Virtual_Machine

Share your experience of using machines.
I plan to place 3 sites (wordpress blog and 2 shops on openCART with 500 positions)

. I expect the load to be no more than 10k people per day. well, no more than 50-70 people “simultaneously”

There is a choice between www.hetzner.de/en/hosting/produkte_vserver/vq12 and www.hetzner.de/en/hosting/produkte_vserver/vq19

The inscription “Single Core” confuses. Will they pull?

I'm using VQ19 with lighttpd. Sumary online more than 10k. Satisfied. Although I look in the direction of more powerful machines, but primarily because of the larger hard drive.

Used vq12, nginx + apache + postfix (a lot of outgoing mail, notifications from the forum), drupal, IPB forum, and also nginx redirected requests to another server. When we reached 2000+ visitors, it was not enough. Every now and then IPB began to bring down mysql. Switched immediately to X4.

If you optimize sites a little: cache what you can, start distributing statics with nginx, then the generation time of one page will be reduced to hundredths of a second, and you can live with it more than you can live in clover.

It strongly depends on the configuration of the server itself and the engine used. I once ran several instillations on Joomla and WP on 400 MB of RAM and even survived the habroeffect without any problems. Therefore, a normally configured nginx + php-fpm bundle with caching enabled in the engines themselves will work without problems on any of these configurations.
