Hetzner how are things going with DDoS protection today?

I heard about the terrible level of their protection, and read old topics on the forums (13-14 years old) about IP blocking during attacks.
How are things today? Of course, I would like to check it myself somehow, but I can’t find services that generally do something adequately.
If things are still bad. What do you recommend? I think oh tunnel

Pretty good, I additionally use cloudflare.
