For some reason, there are such gaps
in the graphs, snmp - v1, kubuntu 10.04, server monitoring on ubuntu-server 9

Most likely a bad connection between the servers or the poller does not have time to work out.
In the second case, you can pop in cactid aka spine, a fielder written in C.

Just yesterday I saw somewhere in the internet a similar problem.
The bottom line was to incorrectly set the rights to the folder with rrd, if I'm not mistaken.
