Headphone cable?

The cable began to die in my Grado SR 60 , and, as usual, in the area of \u200b\u200bthe plug. My first thought was to stupidly replace the plug, but then I thought that it was possible to replace the entire cable, otherwise the native one is thick and long. Maybe one of you knows what good cables are, moderately thick and moderately affordable? Thanks in advance!

In fact, a thick cable is just gut, it is more reliable and has less resistance. Audiophiles generally believe that less than 2 mm square area per conductor cannot be brought close to audio equipment ...
But it won’t hurt to remove the extra length.
In principle, probably the best option would be to look for a not very expensive audio cable for bi-wiring with a cross section of about 1mm per conductor - it will have 4 cores, and it is necessary that two pairs of cores can be separated, because. You have headphones with a separate cable entry.
