He responded to the order, but when communicating with the customer he refused: is it permissible?

If you are a performer, do you often respond to an order on a freelance exchange, but refuse when the customer contacted you?

If you are a customer, how often do you see such behavior of freelancers? Do you consider this behavior a violation of business etiquette?

Fine. Because you have to pull out what he wants from the customer with tongs.

Business etiquette is the ability to say no. Nobody owes anyone.
The response is only a mutual desire to discuss the details of the work. Often it may turn out that something does not suit someone and the work will not take place.
As a performer, I periodically refuse to work when I find out all the details. And it happens in the application "draw a page", and inside the terms of reference for a whole copy of Google.

And what about business etiquette? If you gave the go-ahead and an assessment of the work, everyone agrees and you suddenly disappear here, of course, with tape on your part

It happens. Sometimes it’s clear from communication that the customer is hemorrhoids) in this case, yes, I can refuse, nerves are more expensive. Especially when the conversation begins about the fact that I am a designer myself, then it’s business for 5 minutes. Or you know, we have a big company, I will add you to the chat, we will correct you. and something like that)
