HDMI connection in Kubuntu?

There is a laptop with Kubuntu 16.04 OS and a TV, which you need to connect with an HDMI cable to each other to display the image on the TV screen, and turn off the laptop screen. There are no problems with sound, because speakers are already connected to the laptop and sound output through them is much better than through a TV.
The problem is that every time I connect, I have to go into the screen settings and specify which screen to make the main one, which one to turn on and which one to turn off. And so every time, with every new connection. This is terribly boring!
In Windows, for example, it was necessary to configure everything once and that's it. With a new HDMI connection, the saved configuration was automatically restored and there was no need to go into the settings. Even the sound was automatically output through the TV.
Is there any way in Kubuntu to make sure that the configuration specified once when connecting via HDMI for the first time is restored automatically in the future (automatically turning off the laptop screen and turning on the TV screen) without constantly getting into the system settings.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

@slo_nik

Goodnight.
I think you need to configure the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file for this.
