HDD selection in HP Microserver?
Friends,
I am tormented by the question of which hard drives to install in the HP Microserver server.
Planned Win Server 2008R2 file shares, and the server is needed for tests, 4 HDD, software RAID5.
The choice is between the speed of 5400 or 7200?
Will it run hot with 7200 hard drives?
Who put what hard drives in this server, share your experience.
For myself I will put either the Baracuda LP 5900 probably.

Do not put LP, now Seagate has released a green version, it is also 5900 but smarter and newer.

In my own server I plan to replace 7200 with LP 5900 in the near future, I used them and was satisfied.
