Have you identified the seasonality of orders for foreign freelancing?
Hello.
3 months since I went freelancing. I only work for Upwork.
I noticed that since the second week of December, orders have sharply decreased. And the Indians are attacking like wild ones - responses are growing 2-3 times faster.
Subjectively, of course.
My target group of projects is small sites $100-$300 (beginner).
I came up with a reason for myself - they say, before Christmas, customers think about pressing matters, and not about new sites.
Who works longer - have you identified any trends in the number of orders depending on the seasons, holidays, seasons?
I think when in January it is more logical to wait for a return to the previous level, if this is true ...

I noticed that since the second week of December, orders have sharply decreased.Fine. Because before Christmas.
I confirm! In December, there are few orders to create websites, even existing orders are slowing down and customers give feedback less often. Before the 20th, they are generally completely silent.
I searched for a similar topic - I did not find it.
I just added this one - and immediately a similar question was knocked out in "similar" ones. Are there drawdowns in freelancing?
in December there are a lot of orders as everyone is trying to finish something by Christmas + a lot of requests for sites and changes for all sorts of Christmas sales.
in January it is quieter, but I didn’t notice more special seasonality.
Living in Europe, I can say that closer to Christmas, the locals have their own worries, in principle, as in Russia, everyone buys gifts, thinks about the holidays. The only thing is that the holidays come on the 24th.
