Has Yandex search learned to render JS on the page?

Then I decided to make an application on React, and thought about SEO.
I know that Google will render JS, but Yandex will? At the time of 2017, he did not know how, but as in 2020 - xs.
Don't want to use server rendering because of this.

Yandex has not learned, Google does it badly, if SEO matters, then you can’t do without ssr. There are no problems with the implementation, there is a very convenient nextjs lib, we use it in production and rejoice

If you care about SEO, then react is clearly contraindicated, especially with such questions.

Next.js to help, but in general on projects where SEO is important, we don't use React
