Has anyone used the regular means of archiving the system on a Windows server?

Good day! Does anyone back up the Win server for system data archiving? Back up the system itself, so that in the event of a rally, everything could be quickly restored? I practiced this on users' system files, everything was restored perfectly, the system worked without problems on the same hardware, unlike the same acronis, this is at least a free method and takes the image itself many times less. And does it make sense to back up the server system?

Well, if the system backup works, then why not use it? :-)
The server system should definitely be backed up. Because if suddenly something - will be able to speed up the recovery process.

On one of the servers I make bare metal recovery built-in.
Testing (booting from the installation flash drive \ cd and restoring from a backup made every evening) goes well.
