Does it make sense to set a DHCP server?

Hello, such a question has a peer-to-peer network (all computers are connected via switches to the main router that distributes dhcp) The question arose about introducing a physical winsows server, so the question is whether dhcp should be enabled on the server? if the main router is already distributing dhcp , is it the same story with dns ? I don’t understand why you need to raise these roles on the server if everything is already on the router?

If you clearly feel the need for it, then put it of course. If you don't need it, then don't.
Is it logical?

Well, if you don’t understand, then why do you need another one? Works fine.
That's when you understand why you need it, and why the existing one does not suit you, then it will make sense to think about the need for another DHCP.

In a peer-to-peer network, the windows server itself is not needed. But when you start AD without these roles, it simply won’t work (without DNS - for sure, without DHCP - optional)
