Has anyone connected midi to soundpad (steam)?

I want to connect a drum machine (akai mpd 218) to the soundpad steam application for quick audio switching. The midi application itself does not see, but faq soundpada suggested using programs - Bome MIDI Translator or GlovePie, which I do not understand (Tutoriolov did not find adequate ones in Google,
so if someone has done this or knows how to do this, please help with advice)
