How to program a normal keyboard for midi messages?

I want to make a midi keyboard out of my wireless keyboard.
in midi keyboards, midi messages are already programmed for each key, and when pressed, this message goes to the sequencer (music editor), where it is played. The same thing, I want to do from a regular wireless keyboard.
I don't understand how this can be implemented.
Maybe it's the drivers who write such, or you can write some software yourself that receives signals from the keyboard and will process them and send them to the sequencer (DAW).
I understand that the topic may not be very popular, but I think you can tell me something. (Programming languages, maybe there are already some similar implementations, in which direction to look)
I would be very grateful to you!

If in general you need some kind of adapter that will reprogram the standard keyboard codes into midi code. On the other hand, you need to understand that the standard keyboard is not very convenient for entering midi, it’s more correct to look for an old Soviet synthesizer (the keyboard is almost eternal there) and connect a midi controller to it
