Hardware selection ESXI 6.5?

Good afternoon everyone, we decided to move from mammoth ESXI 6.5 intel dg45id + Intel Xeon E5450 8 GB RAM to more recent hardware

MSI B250M MORTAR (LAN Intel I219-V)
Intel Core i5-7400 BOX LGA 1151
16 GB RAM

Knowing how ESXI is picky about hardware Does anyone have any advice on where to go wrong?

the main problem is ... setevukha! if you do not want adventures, then look towards Intel. an average of 5000 per piece). also pay attention to the minimum system requirements for the hypervisor. well, then ... walk your soul and crack your wallet)

is not enough memory - of course, the Linux server will work, but the current Windows ...

On the storage controller, probably a soft RAID - ESX needs a hard one. What exactly MSI put there - you can read on the board.
