Hard drive overload?

With a seemingly slight load on the hard drive (i.e. when a browser or Word is running, as well as when a torrent client is running), the laptop slows down obscenely. Notebook parameters: licensed Windows 8, intel core i5 3210m, 6 gb RAM, st1000lm24 hnm101mbb -- hard drive.
The advice to reinstall Windows did not help in any way.
Do I need to change the hard drive or can I still fix something?

What about fragmentation? Install Diskeeper, let it sort things out.

Tons of options. First, it would be nice to download Hd Tune, look at the speed graphs in the test. Post them here and we'll think about it.
