How to check SAS disks in detail under linux?
Bought SAS SSD / HDD used disks.
It is necessary to evaluate their survivability and wear.
OS Ubuntu version 20, RAID controller: HP SA P440ar
Actually Smart and sector pass on SATA is all clear, and even remap the same mhdd / Victoria is easy to do.
A question, on SAS and still the controler. SMART gives absolutely meager information (smartctl).
There is no set of parameters, such as Relocated and the like. There is no magazine.
Plus, through the controller we turn, it turns out not quite to the disk.
How can REMAP be done on a SAS disk in principle? (there are 2 disks with obviously troubles)
Share your experience, features of SAS vs. SATA in terms of diagnostics, and technological commands (remap, unc)

SMART gives out absolutely meager information
SCSI and SAS drives do not have SMART in the "classic" sense of the word.
