Hard drive in RAW and extracting information

Hello, the following problem has surfaced. After a power outage, an external hard drive Samsung G2 Portable 640GB chipped into RAW. Before that it was in NTFS. When connected to a computer, it offers to format, and there is important information on it. I tried testdisk, but something did not grow together and it drives me through the menu.
Please tell me what can be done?

I have always been helped by either Ontrack easy recovery or R-studio.

Try the partition recovery (partition recovery), I won’t tell you the specific software.

  1. Connect directly to SATA
  2. If there is space, remove the image. If not, at least the first sectors (there is a partition table and NTFS structures), as much as you can.
  3. Check the disk itself. SMART and surface scan.
  4. Restore partition table
  5. Check file system. chkdsk
  6. Check the integrity of files if possible, depends on the content.

From software, I recommend MHDD for checking hardware, it's free. For DMDE Recovery , Most of the features are free, including Partition Table Recovery.

Try Partition Find and Mount. Helps with MBR damage, which most likely happened to you.
