Hard disk partition problem
The situation is this, on a laptop, the hard disk partitions are:
- Windows OS (1)
- Linux (2)
- - Ubuntu OS (4)
- - swap (5)
- - Ubuntu Data (6)
- Windows Data (3)
I had to reinstall Ubuntu on partition "4". After formatting the "4" partition, I noticed that the "3" partition was gone. Went to Windows and fucked up! Section "3" did not open, showed that 0 bytes were occupied, 0 bytes were free. The file system became RAW. When you try to open it, it prompts you to format it. The disk itself is visible in Windows. There is important information on the disk!
How can I restore a partition?
I know how to format, install systems too. What happened this time is a mystery.
All Windows partitions in NTFS, Ubuntu - ext4.

Boot from the hirens boot cd and try to repair the partition. Utilities Active Partition Recovery or TestDisk from the Recovery Tools section.
As far as I know, the reason is grub's glitch, which writes to ntfs partitions, sometimes killing them.
We didn’t find solutions on the Internet, so, really, apparently you have to go to the SC.
What was it formatted with? Once there was a similar situation. The drive has been partitioned almost identically to yours. Through the Ubuntu live cd, I formatted the installed Ubuntu using gparted, the ntfs partition with files flew. Restored only in the service ...
It is better to contact the WD SC!
I even got the data restored from the dead screw (the engineer was covered) on the new screw, seven sweats came down while I was waiting.
It looks like the boot sector has flown. When I had this, I restored at random with the Smart Partition Recovery utility from the Hirens boot CD. The first thing that came to hand. :)
Surely there is something in Yubunt for such a case, unfortunately I don’t know.
