Hanging video and music online. Am I the only one having this problem?

In the morning, turning on the laptop, running the opera, Avast found 8 viruses, which were js files. Then I found another 2 dozen. I scanned the laptop, avast found over 1600 "viruses".
I decided to restore the system from the image created the day before. The problem is gone.
There was a constant freezing of videos on youtube, and VK music from the VK website and the VK Audiopad browser extension.
Updated Adobe Flash, reinstalled Opera, Chrome also has freezes.
I don't see a direct connection between viruses and freezes, but what could be the reason? This was not the case before. The laptop is powerful, GTA5 is on average

I had something similar in Chrome (as well as in FF, Safari).
Video (on any service) started (not always) and did not rewind and hung after about 5 seconds. In my case it was a Mac and the problem was that the audio was set to output via HDMI instead of the built-in speakers and HDMI was not connected at the time . I accidentally noticed and switched to sound output through the speakers - and it all worked. Perhaps you have something similar - and the demolition of the drivers simply reset the settings to output through the built-in speakers.
