H97chipset raid 1 what about Trim?
we have a "budget" win2012 server on the H97 chipset, under SQL1c the
ssd samsung 850pro screws are raised
on
it raid 10/1,
the latest Intel® 13.6
. What is the best way to solve this problem within reasonable and budgetary limits?
there is exactly the same configuration on raid 0, everything is successful!
as I understand it, the driver simply does not support RAID 10.1 processing,
rubanul indexing and defragmentation, the speed is still normal, but I don’t want to kill disks with this method. Or am I stressing for nothing?
You can buy a controller for this desktop motherboard, unless of course there are compatibility problems.

In general, using under-raids on motherboards is kind of stupid, make a soft raid and live in peace without a vendor lock.
and what will orthodox disks from itel give? if the controller itself does not support trim in raids 1.10
, why is the same samsung bad? Aphids only in terms of the built-in garbage collector?
I understood about the resource, it means only speed
Soft raid - a drop in speed and is it worth contacting it, for these tasks
Raid 1 - Trim also does not work, as in 10m, checked
Raid 0 - as a way out of the situation, but you will have to backup more often and always be afraid!
I understand that initially the approach to this server did not work out, so I’ll forgive the help, I won’t be able to replace everything, but there is a possibility to fix something
