GUI or Web interface for console command?

Good afternoon!
There is a task: To make a web-interface for the user on Linux, which would display the play, stop and pause buttons, when pressed, a pre-recorded file would be played. But the user will connect via vpn, i.e. the buttons will be pressed remotely, but the music should play on the remote PC, and not on the user's PC. Is this possible?? Maybe there are ready-made solutions? Vnc, terminal, etc. do not offer.
