GPU virtualization server for home

For a long time I want to have a home server with a normal video to play WoT sometimes. And somehow I can not decide on the choice of iron.

asus p8z68-v
4*4gb ram
gtx 560
Chieftec BA-01B-BB (ATX + E-ATX)
Does anyone have experience of creating something like this at home, forwarding and normal operation of a video card?
I would like to use VMware, however, apparently, it still works a bit damp there. Found this review:

The motherboard does not support VT-d. Processors with index "k" also do not support VT-d.
And also in my experience, the video card from Nvidia could not be forwarded to ESXi (5.1).
So you won't be able to skip anything. To forward the video card, I use hardware on the AMD platform. habrahabr.ru/post/203488/

- I’m ready to change all my hardware

Motherboard based on Intel Q87 chipset with vPro support
Appropriate CPU with VT-d support (xenon can be used)
32 gigabytes of RAM (hypervisors love it)
ESXI 5.5 (send anyone who tells you that it's raw and needs to be set to 5.1) or Hyper- V
A card from Nvidia (the solution will be found by Google or will come by itself after three days of sex with this hardware)
A flash drive for installing the hypervisor itself on it

4 * 4gb ram
gtx 680
As a result, I returned to the standard configuration, because there is no point. It makes sense if there is a second video to play together, or if the computer works 365/7/24, but it's expensive (expensive electricity).

Hmm, if you want to play around - any mother + percent who can virtualize in hardware, plus windows server 2012 r2 with the role of hyper-v.
I have an axis on ssd, visual studio 2013 (asp.net mvc dev), ms sql with databases on hdd, well, I'm still playing.
plus a couple of virtual machines for testing what you don’t want to run under the main OS.
