GPU virtualization server for home
For a long time I want to have a home server with a normal video to play WoT sometimes. And somehow I can not decide on the choice of iron.

Does anyone have experience of creating something like this at home, forwarding and normal operation of a video card?
I would like to use VMware, however, apparently, it still works a bit damp there. Found this review:
Forwarding/sharing PCI/PCI-E under VMware is in its infancy. And although this is not the topic: if there is no need for VMware, try HYPER-V. Everything that supports DX11 and has a WDDM 1.2 driver works.

The motherboard does not support VT-d. Processors with index "k" also do not support VT-d.
And also in my experience, the video card from Nvidia could not be forwarded to ESXi (5.1).
So you won't be able to skip anything. To forward the video card, I use hardware on the AMD platform. habrahabr.ru/post/203488/

Appropriate CPU with VT-d support (xenon can be used)
32 gigabytes of RAM (hypervisors love it)
ESXI 5.5 (send anyone who tells you that it's raw and needs to be set to 5.1) or Hyper- V
A card from Nvidia (the solution will be found by Google or will come by itself after three days of sex with this hardware)
A flash drive for installing the hypervisor itself on it

I have an axis on ssd, visual studio 2013 (asp.net mvc dev), ms sql with databases on hdd, well, I'm still playing.
