Google Play Console: I am a solo developer. Why is the identity verification form asking for company information?
Hello! I wrote my application for Android, I'm tinkering with the Google Play Console out of a sporting interest, to try publishing and find out what everyone eats with it. I registered for a personal account, paid a fee of 25 bucks and now the console asks to confirm my identity. Judging by the guides, most are asked for personal data, but I am asked to provide company data. Because registered on a personal account, then from somewhere it pulls up data about a non-existent company that I indicated somewhere in order to continue registration (On Firebase/Google Console/when creating a current account, in order to download photos from satellites with the Google API for free), but I'm a solo developer and can't figure out how I can verify myself. Live chat does not work for them, wait 48 hours for an answer to such a simple question (and it’s not a fact that no more, because they may need more information). Is it possible to indicate the correct data somewhere or do I need to ask for a refund of the fee and go to register a new account? Thank you!

I decided to help with the solution of this issue, because I myself was very tormented with this problem.
Somewhere on the Internet, people wrote that he had a payment account for the organization in the lists, and it was because of this that Google asked to confirm the organization. I checked and I had the same garbage.
1. I went to the list of payment accounts and found the wrong account that I made in the google cloud platform.
2. I deleted this billing account, after that I started to get an error in the play console
3. I wrote to support in English that I deleted the billing account and I can’t register.
4. I got a response the next day that they couldn't provide a confirmation attempt because the billing account was closed and that they would refund the money if I confirmed the account was closed.
We cannot grant additional verification attempts on our end as your account shows that the Payments Profile associated with your developer account has been closed. For this reason, we are unable to verify your ID to complete your Play Console registration.
Please send me confirmation if you would like to have your account deleted and the registration fee be refunded to your original payment method instead. If you would like to proceed, you can respond with “I confirm to have my Play Console Developer account closed and have its registration fee refunded.”.
Google tries not to work with idiots, this is expressed in such unexpected requirements, the
best option is to become a different person with a new account, pay 25 and increase everything you need
or disable everything except this paid account
I've run into issues with google products several times and have always resolved them through the support forum. After posting a question with a description of the problem, usually after an hour or two there is a first reaction. Then either everything is decided within the framework of the forum (with one specialist), or I was brought together with the right person. There was even a case when I was sent to write an official appeal to the support service, but they asked me to give a reference to the forum correspondence and the friend with whom I talked controlled the process of considering the application.
So you can first try to resolve the issue through negotiations. You can always say that the situation has changed. "Yes, I was ... but now it's gone - I work for myself ... I don't know how to change it." The main thing is to be polite, maybe even a little ingenuous (this encourages the other side to give more detailed answers or even take the initiative in something).
