Google maps API or not?
Good day. Recently asked a question, but there was not a clear moment.
There is a task to make an interactive map on which flags are set, when clicked on, information on the region (pre-prepared) falls out to the user ON THE SAME page below the map.
One of several tips was to look towards the Google api.
Well, the question is: is it possible to implement just such functionality using the Google maps API, or is it worth looking at other options?

Look at
api.yandex.ru/maps
leafletjs.com
api.2gis.ru/doc/maps/quickstart
For large Russian cities, I would definitely prefer Yandex (or 2gis for
some cities )
take data from OSM)
For the world - Google.
