Well, now they will have a location service in G +
I am looking for an alternative.
What would you recommend putting in?
Mainly interested in Android.
The main thing is that the battery does not plant much.
And not to be tied to any G +, Facebook, ...

In the cover letter, they say that this feature will move to G+.

All my friends sit tight on 4sq, which is foursquare, again, goodies like coffee for check-in or discounts are a nice addition, so I'm not surprised that the service is being closed.
For the Russian-speaking segment, there is also VKontakte - they have already made a similar checkin functionality
