Google indexes the server's ip-address as a separate site, what should I do?
Actually, we have a website with the usual sitename.ru domain. Like many sites, you can access it simply by the server ip-address 78.24.183 ....
Today we saw that Google indexed this very ip-address as a separate site.
This is the first time I've come across this. Where what settings should be done to stop such indexing? Are 301 redirects with ip through "/*" sufficient? Or install 403 Forbidden? In general, how to do it right?

Your web server is not configured correctly, it is a common practice that when you access the IP address you get a "Oh, maybe you made a mistake" stub.
You need to set up separate virtual hosts:
one for the ip address with a stub, and another one for the site.
you can make both a page redirect and a 403/404/410 error, in all cases, after a while, addresses in the form of IP will disappear from the search results, although Google is very bad at parting with information, if there are a lot of such pages, then they can be deleted for a year or more, pagination may be faster.
