Google Apps & Google groups?

Situation:
Let's say there is a group groups.google.com/group/mygroup with a mailing address [email protected] with a decent archive of messages. There are many participants. Everyone is comfortable.
After some time, the domain mydomain.com is bought. Google Apps is activated for it, the corresponding MX records are set on the Google servers.
Question:
How to make it so that now any member of the group can send messages to the super convenient [email protected] address, and they are redirected on his behalf to [email protected] and get to everyone?
That is, the option to create a new group under the domain and invite old members is not suitable.
If you create a [email protected] account and set a redirect in the settings, you need to know the confirmation code there, which is sent, respectively, to [email protected] Only, of course, no letter comes to [email protected] with a code in sight.
In the settings of users of the mydomain.com domain for the [email protected]in.com user, the promised section for setting up a redirect is not observed at all.
What do you advise?
In general, is it possible to somehow transfer an existing group under your domain?

@shoumikhin

And if you do this: create a group (in your GA) [email protected], add [email protected] to it and allow everyone to write to [email protected]?

1. [email protected] is your "user" or "group"? If “group” is not an archive, but a forwarding address.
2. To be honest, nothing was written about spam, and now it is not clear what the task was? If you get rid of spam, then this should be solved using the Google group settings.
3. Of course, you can add all users of the Google group to your domain group, but then they will receive all messages twice.
