Gnome 3 - how to see option text?

Trying to upgrade to Ubuntu, ran into a problem I can't google.
Some selects (for example, in gnome-tweak-tool) contain long texts in options that are stupidly invisible.
When the window is expanded to full screen, the select remains the same size. I tried different modifiers, how to call a hint - it does not work.

I apologize for the "bad handwriting", the printscreen categorically does not want to be done when the select is active :)

Satisfied my curiosity a little by reducing the font size to the minimum readable. But it's still not entirely clear what's in the options.
