GNOME 3 customization?

Hi all!
Installed new linux mint at work.
Now I'm tormented by a few questions:
1. How to reduce the size of the close, collapse, and unfold buttons? — they are too big
2. How to move them to the left? Yes, yes, I have a poppy at home and I'm very used to the fact that the buttons are on the left.
3. Somewhere I saw articles on customizing gnome3 - I can’t find it, I would be grateful if someone gives a link.
