Git denied access to the file. What to do?

I had my last commit to the master branch about a month ago.
During the month, I changed the file in different ways, but today I decided that I did not need all these changes and I wanted to return to the last commit.
Used git checkout -- filename
After that, it was written in the console that there was no access to the file. Further, through the explorer I tried to open the file, but it did not work - there are no rights. I can't even copy this file.
Before using this command, it worked quietly.

A user with administrative rights can restore the rights to the file.
