When working with the Prepros compiler - do I need to add prepros.cfg to gitignore? And in general - what is usually contributed and what is not, in gitignore.

If the project is only your own, do it as you like.
If the team works, then you agree with the team.
If it is supposed to spread to the public, then there should not be anything superfluous in the turnip. This means that we write all the garbage in the form of configs of the programs used in git-ignore.
