Getting the coordinates of an element in android?

We have a main screen which is implemented in LinerLayout. On top of it in the ConstraintLayout we have an onboarding curtain. On this curtain, we need to select an element from the main screen.
getLocation... And hit doesn't give correct coordinates, or even null

How can I get the coordinates of this element?
