The phone on android 5.1.1 does not connect to the wi-fi distributed from the PC via the 802.11n wi-fi adapter
. I checked it on other phones, it also does not work. If you connect a laptop then it works. Why won't my phone connect?

Perhaps Wi-Fi on the PC is set to "ad-hoc" mode, and not in hotspot mode. Yes, the laptop will connect, but android itself does not know how to do this mode, only through dances with a tambourine that are googled:
