FTP in Windows environment?
All good. Historically, it so happened that FTP is usually raised on Linux. Does it make sense to consider a Windows-Ftp server if it will be spinning strictly in a Windows environment and ftp-folders will be shared with windows-users? Or is this option still clumsy and not worth it?

You would formulate the task more precisely.
In Windows, you can raise ftp, you can also do something native, but I personally like https://filezilla-project.org/

Why do you need ftp? Is there a domain? Making just a ball is not enough to solve the problem?
The FTP server looks about the same in the Windows environment, like a khaki UAZ in the middle of a parking lot full of foreign cars :) It's ridiculous and inconvenient. Yes, there is filezilla. But in order to properly administer it, you need to know a little linux - otherwise you'll be like monkeys - I'm typing, but I don't understand what.
File sharing via FTP is difficult, although in the absence of firewalls, Windows will certainly take on a lot of the dirty work. But still - file sharing on FTP will be difficult.
Where they drive foreign cars - take a foreign car. Where on UAZ-iks - take UAZ-ik :)

Normal absolutely. FTP is not provided by the OS. A PO. And it's full.
Still? FTP servers for Windows have existed since the time of the king of peas.
