Increasing the virtual disk size does not automatically resize the system!?

In general, such a topic.
Installed the system from the template in Hyper-V. The system originally had 60GB.
I set up the machine, turned it off, threw on the processors, ram and hard disk space (expanded by 200GB).
I go into the system, the place is as it was 60, and it remains:

In the hardware settings, it costs 200GB, and for some reason this figure cannot be changed ... I

looked through the DiskPart utility, it is indicated that the HDD is 200G and 60 is occupied in it.

You have expanded the disk, not the partition. Actually in the discpart this is indicated.

What's so amazing? You have increased the disk size in terms of hyper. And from the point of view of the axis - as it was 60G - it remained. Now make the partition size extension - by the way, Windows itself is very good at it.

run the partition manager acronis, gparted, etc.
in them to resize the partition.
after which the file system is expanded to the entire partition (usually the manager immediately suggests doing this)
