FTP client for macOS to edit text files?

At the moment I use Transmit. But I'm very dissatisfied with the speed and a couple more moments. Who will tell

It seems like atom supports remote-ftp - https://atom.io/packages/remote-ftp
Eclipse definitely supports it - the Remote System Explorer End-User Runtime
Idea plugin supports it too.
And there is such a thing as jEdit - a plugin here plugins.jedit.org/plugindoc/FTP
In your case, Atom is probably the best.
But there's also Emacs (my favorite) and Vim, don't forget!
