There is a nice plugin called mPDF. You can use Ajax to open the generated and saved file in a new window. Or - post request with opening in a new window. mPDF itself is very simple and works well with Cyrillic and HTML markup. You can connect some kind of js editor to make your PDFs more beautiful.
